Why we use a water-fed pole, not a ladder

For years, cleaning windows outside meant a ladder, a bucket and a squeegee. It still works, but it has two real problems: it's slower on anything above ground floor, and a squeegee always leaves some residue behind, especially in the corners.

A water-fed pole fixes both. The pole reaches every window from the ground — no ladder going up and down the side of the house — and the water running through it has been through a filter that strips out everything that would normally leave a mark. Pure water dries completely clear on its own. No wiping, no streaks, no residue drying in the sun before we've got round the back.

What it means for you

No one needs to be home for it, there's nothing propped against your guttering or fascias, and upstairs windows get the same finish as the ground floor — which isn't always true with a ladder.

It's why the outside clean and the inside clean are two different visits done two different ways. The pole can't get indoors, so inside still gets done the traditional way, by hand.
